When my 14 year old Bryant 2 stage furnace failed with a blocked secondary heat exchanger I contacted Bryant customer service to report my problem since the heat exchanger had a lifetime warranty. They had me contact a local dealer and was provided a brand new equivalent featured model at no cost other than installation. I am very pleased with both the quiet operation as well has the high efficiency of my 926T 96.5 efficiency furnace. Bryant has earned my respect and made me a lifelong customer.

I purchased a Bryant unit from Speedy Air in Naples Fl, Nov. 2017 for our condo. Jan 2020, I had to replace the coil because of flaking from the coil that left particles in the living area of the condo. Question are, are these particulars harmful to humans and have there been other issues reported to Bryant? Also, has the particular been analyzed and is there any correspondence from Bryant about the problem? Is the new coil safe and will not flake?

2nd time in 16 months my inverter board that controls my compressor on my condenser unit has failed. Also the app and thermostats are terrible. I paid a lot of money for some seriously faulty unfinished engineering. The app needs a serious overhaul and they have a serious flaw in there variable speed compressor units. Bryant and my rep has taken care of us and continues to replace the board at their cost no complaints in the service portion but fix your crap there is obviously a problem. The thermostat feels like it belongs in 2006.

Question the quality of the product

The heat exchanger was replaced and all is working well now. In 4 years the heat exchanger developed several holes (6-8) creating a less than efficient furnace, and the worst thing, emitting carbon monoxide fumes into the air. My wife and I both feel better and have clearer eyes since the fix. We all know what could have happened.

Crap product

I bought the system new in the late summer of 2016. Started having problems with the AC summer of 2018. I've had to have the freon filled 3 times since. My power bills are through the roof. I should have kept the one which was original to the house. I have the same (twice as much) power bills as i did before i purchased this one. At least it didnt leak....or whatever else is wrong with the piece of crap.

Bad experience with Bryant A/C

I wish I can give them less than one star. Bad experience with my Ac after 4 years of installation. A coil went bad. The part is covered, but the labor isn’t. I cost me $900 for installation. I wish I got a different brand. I emailed them to see what they can offer me since they unit is fairly new . They didn’t offer me anything. Give yourself a favor and choose a different brand. Never again!!!!

The WORST customer support from any company

Don’t waste your time and $ with any Bryant AC unit, the support from local Bryant and their help desk is non existent. Ever since I purchased and had installed a Bryant 127a 2 stage AC, the humidity in my home increased by 20-30% (and I live in Denver CO a semi arid climate). The installer made many changes which did not help. I reached out to the local Bryant rep, spoke once and he was to get back to me. That was 7 months ago. After calling Bryant customer relations, they say you will hear from someone in 3-5 business days. That was 3 weeks ago and no a word from the local Bryant rep or the installer. The 127a unit makes noises, vibrations and mostly increases the humidity inside the home where it is uncomfortable. An AC unit is supposed to reduce and remove humidity, but this unit adds it. I will never buy another Bryant or Carrier product. Don’t waste you $$$ on it.

Two years of constant headaches.

First summer after March 2017 install constant shutdowns in 90-100 plus degree weather. Replaced circuit board—didn’t help. After much complaining Bryant agreed to replace compressor a year later but I had to pay for the install! Problems continue. Now I’m getting two new shutdown codes. Again without AC summmer of 2019!!!

NEW DEFECTIVE UNIT

I HAVE TWO UNITS THAT FAILED IN JUST UNDER 3 YEARS. I CONTACTED BRYANT/CARRIER AND ASKED IF THEY WOULD ASSIST WITH THE LABOR, UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES, WHILE CONSIDERING THE COST OF $2,600.00, TO REPLACE TWO COMPRESSORS-ONE DEFECTIVE WHEN NEW...IT TOOK THAT LONG TO COMPLETELY FAIL. BRYANT SHOWED A TOTAL UNSYMPATHETIC ATTITUDE, AND A PATHETIC AND DISTRESSING EXAMPLE OF WHAT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION SHOULD BE , TOWARDS MY SITUATION, BY TAKING TWO WEEKS TO LET ME KNOW, THEY WOULD NOT ASSIST, WHILE I ENDURED AND STILL ENDURING UP TO 100 DEGREE TEMPERATURES IN MY HOME. THERE ARE NUMEROUS REVIEWS ONLINE ABOUT FAULTY EQUIPMENT ON BRYANT A/C UNITS. MY ADVISE WOULD BE CHOOSE ANOTHER PRODUCT, READ ALL REVIEWS BEFORE YOU CONSIDER PURCHASING A UNIT FROM BRYANT/CARRIER.
