On 11/9/14, I called R&B Maintenance in Elberton, GA. This company advertises 'Bryant' on trucks and store front.

I specifically requested service on my Bryant Evolution heat pump. They did NOT inform me they employed no technicians who were trained or experienced in the diagnosis or repair of my unit. Unfortunately, on 11/10/14, they sent a tech who admittedly had no knowledge of this system. He said he had to call Bryant and get some troubleshooting tips.

On 11/11/14, a different tech came and spent 3 hours and removed 1# of Freon, I was charged $237.25 and paid. After several more days, I was still receiving trouble readouts of "System Malfunction, Call Technician" on the thermostat. After I called R&B the 2nd or 3rd time, the tech made the 3rd service call, spent another 2.25 hours and installed a start capacitor. This was NOT a reasonable amount of time to diagnose a faulty start capacitor.

My unit still did not operate properly, and I realized the auxiliary heat function was running excessively.

On 1/18/15, the compressor locked up and I had nothing except 'Emergency Heat' at all. Total amount paid $467.74 for complete incompetence!

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $467.

Preferred solution: Full refund.
